| The Raritan Valley Soccer Officials Association (RVSOA) is an independent association of certified high school soccer officials. RVSOA provides officials to officiate at all levels of soccer competition at accredited public, private and parochial middle and high schools. This support is provided in New Jersey's Raritan Valley counties of Hunterdon, Middlesex, Somerset, and Warren. These games are officiated in accordance with the laws/rules of soccer set forth by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) as modified by the New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJISAA). 2009 Soccer Officials Uniform
Consists of either the
NISOA gold or black grid
style shirt (in the event of a color conflict with either shirt,
an NISOA orange grid style shirt may be worn), black shorts, black socks with
white striped tops and black shoes. NO USSF UNIFORM IS ALLOWED.
An optional black cap may be worn.
A jacket, if worn, must be solid black.
All officials must be similarly attired except for the hat and must wear the NJSIAA
emblem on the left chest.
